AlexClimbs is based in the Cairngorms National Park and run by Alex Parmenter. Alex holds the Mountain Instructor Award, the highest UK summer based instructional award and is a full time member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. Alex also holds the highest qualification for Mountain Bike instruction in the UK, the SMBLA’s Mountain Bike Leader Award as well as being an Aspirant Tutor for the SMBLA.

AlexClimbs aims to offer high quality outdoor instruction & guiding in the Scottish Highlands. We offer courses in summer & winter. Our Summer courses include Guided Hill Walks, Hill Skills, Mountain Scrambling, Rock Climbing Instruction, Mountain Biking Guiding & Mountain Bike Skills Coaching. Please contact AlexClimbs for information on our paddle sports. The Winter courses include Ski Mountaineering, Winter Skills & Winter Mountaineering. Our courses will give you the opportunity to explore & experience the Scottish environment as well as develop your skills in a variety of outdoor pursuits.
